Disney Monopoly Editions

Thirty-four Disney editions, covering Mickey, the villains, Lilo & Stitch, the theme parks and a few Junior sets.

32 editions in this list.

Top picks

Disney is the biggest franchise on this site with 34 editions. They fall into a handful of clusters: the character sets like Mickey and Friends, the single-film boards like Lilo & Stitch and The Little Mermaid, the Theme Park editions, the Junior sets for young kids, and a run of older printings going back to a 2006 Pixar edition.

If you're buying for a specific kid, pick the film they're attached to. If you're buying for a family with a wide age range, pick a set that spans the whole studio.

How to choose

Mickey and Friends is the least risky choice in that second case. The classic cast covers everyone from grandparents down, and it's listed for ages eight and up. Disney Animation Edition does something similar by drawing on the studio's films as a whole rather than one title.

Villains flips the usual framing. You take the part of a Disney villain rather than a hero, which lands well in households where Maleficent and Ursula get more screen time than the princesses. It's rated eight and up like the rest.

Stitch has the most printings of any single Disney film here, with two Lilo & Stitch boards, another Winning Moves printing, a German edition, Dutch and French versions, and the Monopoly Deal deck. That's a lot of overlap, so check which one you're actually ordering. The 2022 Winning Moves board puts Lilo, Stitch, Nani and Jumba on the map.

For younger players, the three Junior sets are the answer. Finding Dory and Incredibles 2 both wrap Pixar art around the shortened rules, and Monopoly Junior Disney Channel is a period piece at this point given how much the channel has changed.

Collectors have their own corner. Disney Theme Park Edition III swaps streets for attractions, Hasbro Monopoly Disney Edition Tin carries the Parker Brothers name on a metal box, and the Nightmare Before Christmas 25 Years printing from 2018 marks the film's anniversary.

One quirk worth flagging: Monopoly: Star Wars Dark Side Edition is filed under Disney in this catalog because of who owns the license, so don't be surprised to find a Sith board sitting next to The Little Mermaid.

What's in this list

Everything here carries Disney as its franchise tag, pulled from across five different categories. That means 26 themed editions, three Kids & Junior boxes, three Monopoly Deal decks, one merch listing and one filed as Classic all share the page. Sets are ordered by how strong their sales signals are, so the current releases rise and the 2006 and 2007 printings sit lower. Non-English versions are mixed in rather than split out, and the language is always in the title.

Twenty-one of the 34 carry a year, spread from 2006 through 2025. The other thirteen are undated older printings, and the title is usually the only clue you get.

Common questions

How many Disney Monopoly editions are there?

We track 34 under the Disney license, which is the largest franchise group on the site. That count includes the board games, three Monopoly Junior sets, the Monopoly Deal Stitch deck and several non-English printings.

Which Disney Monopoly is best for young children?

The Junior sets. Finding Dory, Incredibles 2 and Disney Channel all run on Monopoly Junior rules, which cut the game down to short turns and no mortgages. Full-length Disney boards like Mickey and Friends are listed from age eight.

Is there a Disney theme park Monopoly?

Yes. Disney Theme Park Edition III replaces street properties with park attractions, and it appears twice in our catalog under slightly different listings. It's the obvious pick for annual pass holders who want the parks on a table in the off season.

Is there a Disney version of Monopoly Deal?

The Disney Stitch Edition card game came out in 2025 for two to five players from age eight, with the film's characters replacing the usual property cards. French and Dutch printings of the same deck are in the catalog as well.
