Sixteen listings sit under Pokemon on this site, and six of them are games. That gap catches people out, so it's worth being direct about it: the other ten are card storage cases whose product titles happen to name both Pokemon and Monopoly Deal.
The games themselves come down to three boards. The current Pokemon Edition from 2024, the Kanto Edition from 2014, and an older crossover simply titled Pokemon Monopoly. Everything else is a language printing of the first one.
How to choose
Monopoly Pokemon Edition is the default. It's listed for two to four players, ages eight and up, at roughly forty five minutes a game, with Pokemon artwork throughout. That run time matters more than it sounds. A standard Monopoly game can stretch past the point where a nine-year-old is still interested, and this one is built to end.
The Kanto Edition is the nostalgia pick. It puts the Kanto region from the original games on the board, which lands with anyone who started with Red and Blue and means very little to a kid who started with Scarlet and Violet. The listing gives no component detail, so you're buying the framing.
Pokemon Monopoly is the oldest of the three and the thinnest on detail. Expect the standard game wrapped in creature art. It's a collector's item at this point rather than a game night choice.
Language printings are where mistakes happen. There's a German version of the Pokemon Edition from 2025, a French version, and a separate listing marked English Version. The board and cards are printed in that language throughout, so choose the one your household actually reads at the table.
The storage cases are worth a sentence since you'll scroll past them. They're zippered boxes sized for a few hundred cards, sold empty, and they fit UNO, Phase 10, Pokemon cards and Monopoly Deal alike. Useful if you already own the decks. Not a game.
What's in this list
The page collects every listing tagged with the Pokemon franchise, which cuts across two categories: Video Games for the boards and Deals for the storage cases. Sorting runs on sales signals first, then year, so the 2024 edition leads and the undated older printings trail. Only three of the sixteen carry a year at all, and those three are 2014, 2024 and 2025.
Six games and ten empty boxes is an unusual ratio for a franchise page, and it's the one thing to keep in mind while you scroll this one.

Common questions
How many Pokemon Monopoly editions are there?
Sixteen listings carry the Pokemon tag here, but only six are games. The other ten are card storage cases that mention Pokemon and Monopoly Deal in the same product title, which is how they ended up tagged this way. The six games are the current Pokemon Edition, the Kanto board, an older Pokemon Monopoly, and German, French and English printings.
How long does Pokemon Monopoly take to play?
The current Pokemon Edition is listed at about forty five minutes for two to four players, ages eight and up. That's shorter than a standard Monopoly game and it takes fewer people, which is the practical reason it gets finished more often with kids at the table.
What is the difference between the Kanto edition and the 2024 one?
The Kanto Edition from 2014 builds the board on the Kanto region from the first generation of games. The 2024 Pokemon Edition uses current artwork and gives you the player count and run time up front, which the older listing doesn't. Kanto is the nostalgia buy.
Is there a Pokemon Monopoly Deal?
No deck under the Pokemon license appears in our catalog. The Pokemon-tagged listings in the Monopoly Deal category are zippered storage cases sized for card games, not playable decks. If you want a themed Deal, the Harry Potter, Disney Stitch and Kpop Demon Hunters versions are the ones that exist.
